Continuing Education

DASC is a Registered Social Worker Continuing Education Sponsor in the state of Illinois and with the American Psychological Association. We periodically offer continuing education seminars and other supervision and training experiences where Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors and psychologists can earn continuing education credits (CEs). Please inquire regarding topics, lecturers and other training opportunities.

In-Service Training

Cognitive-Behavioral interventions for Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders

Consultation

As mental health professionals, we are often faced with new challenges in our practices.  If you would like to get expert consultation on a specific case, we can help.  We provide consultation services for Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, other mood disorders, Panic Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), other anxiety disorders, stress management, and psychotic disorders.

Professional Supervision and Development

Are you looking to expand your practice and learn CBT and/or exposure-based therapies?  Do you want to learn how to implement these interventions, but you don’t feel comfortable “going it alone”?  Why not learn from professionals who are experienced in teaching and implementing these interventions.  Our staff has this experience.  Brief or ongoing supervision is available.  It is our commitment to improve the quality and availability of CBT to those who need it.
