Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Group

Wednesdays from 4:00pm-5:30pm, in person at DASC’s Lakeview office

This group offers a time for individuals experiencing anxiety to engage in structured and supported exposure therapy. This group would be most effective for adults with disorders that are effectively treated using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), including OCD, panic disorder, eating disorders, and social anxiety disorder.

Often, it is challenging for people with anxiety to engage in exposures independently; so this group serves as an opportunity to practice exposure in addition to individual sessions to target anxiety and avoidance symptoms in a supportive environment. This group’s philosophy is to support people in reducing their avoidance and anxiety driven behaviors in order to live meaningful lives filled with the things they value.

The use of virtual reality (VR) for exposures will be available.
