Values: Compassion, Humor, Growth, Balance, Connection, Justice

Hello! My approach to therapy incorporates humor, warmth and authenticity to provide a safe and collaborative environment. Throughout our time together, my aim is to foster an authentic and transparent relationship, while also supporting you in recognizing patterns, overcoming challenges, and embracing opportunities for personal growth and self-acceptance. I aspire for each of my clients to experience a fulfilling life that is in harmony with their genuine values and authentic selves.

I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health agencies, residential programs, intensive outpatient and outpatient settings, and substance abuse treatment centers. I have provided both individual and group therapy to those facing a diverse range of concerns, and have experience working with anxiety disorders, OCD, body image, eating disorders, mood disorders and trauma. Throughout my work with clients around body image- I utilize Anti-Diet, Health At Every Size (HAES) and body liberation frameworks.

I have a particular passion working with folks with ADHD, and am an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). My approach to ADHD therapy is rooted in empathy and a deep understanding of the unique struggles that individuals with ADHD face. I believe in a holistic approach to ADHD therapy, and I am committed to affirming experiences of neurodivergent individuals while they navigate a neurotypical built society.

I utilize and adapt empirically validated treatments such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO DBT), Mindfulness and Harm Reduction. I also incorporate Mindful Self-Compassion techniques to support individuals in practicing self-compassion and understanding the universality of suffering in the human experience. As an ally for the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, I am committed and interested in better understanding the complexities of sexuality, gender and identity in our current culture.
